Today I'm starting a Work at Home Blog.
I have two reasons for doing this.
- I want to log my ideas and tests.
- I'd like to share my experiences with others who might also want to find some
good work at home opportunities.
I have some experience in working from home. I've sold many things on eBay over the
years. I've recently done quite a bit of affiliate marketing as well. At least enough
to make my life a little more comfortable. My wife has had several
work from home businesses the past 10 years.
There are just so many ways to make money from home .. particularly online ... that
this just makes sense to me.
In the coming weeks and months I'm intending to write about:
- Affiliate marketing.
- Pay-per-click (PPC) networks such as Google Adwords and Yahoo Overture.
- Google Adsense.
- Organic search engine revenue vs PPC.
- Pay-for-Performance networks (Clickbank and Commission Junction).
- Paid Online Surveys.
- eBay stores.
My hope is that this blog will become a log of my work at home successes and
failures. What things worked and what things did not. Hopefully, anyone who happens to
stumble upon this diary might find something useful.
I will try to update this blog on a regular basis, hopefully every day or two with my
results.
However, I am an extremely busy person, so there may be times where a week
goes by without a new entry.
Maybe I'll setup a little alert system where interested people can get an email
notification when a new entry has been added. I'll have to think about that.
Initially, any comments will have to come to me via my
email account.
I will answer them all best I can, and
will include in this blog those that I think would
be of interest to readers.
Lastly, I reserve the right to occasionally go off-topic to write about something completely
different but meaningful to me. Maybe the beautiful songs of Warren Zevon, or the stunning
cinematography of Winged Migration. We shall see.
